Getting married is about the two of you, the love you share for each other, and the moment you want to remember as you begin the next chapter of life’s journey together. Maybe you’d rather save the money you would spend on an expensive party and instead make a down payment on a house, or take the honeymoon of a lifetime. Maybe you just can’t wait to tie the knot. Or maybe you’ve fallen madly in love with your co-worker but don’t want any of your colleagues to be at the wedding, so you flee to Niagara Falls only to have your boss give everyone the day off so they can be there, which is why you escape onto a boat and get married under the waterfall! (Oh wait… that’s an episode of The Office.) Whatever the reason, if you just want to go get hitched, then let’s do it! What’s more romantic than that!?

Here's what you can expect:

• Professional, humorous, and heartfelt officiating. I’ll make sure that you get a Romantic Comedy experience no matter where we are!  The beach, a mountaintop, the courthouse steps – everywhere can be romantic in the right context.

• Assistance & collaboration in planning your elopement. If you need recommendations for photographers, videographers, or make-up artists, I can help with that too.

• Guidance & support in applying for and obtaining your marriage license. I will file your signed marriage license with the county clerk and provide you with a copy to have until your official certificate arrives to you in the mail.  

• Location scouting and permit assistance, where necessary.

• Please note that for elopements, I offer a simplified version of my usual services; I meet with both of you together but skip the individual sessions. Nonetheless, I will find what is uniquely RomCom-y about your love story and have you falling in love all over again. It’s kind of my thing.

• Please note what does not qualify as an elopement:

  • Ceremonies with over ten guests.

  • Ceremonies at a rented venue.

  • Ceremonies requiring extensive set-up.
