The ceremony is often overlooked, regarded as a traditional formality that we all have to endure before the party can start. Truth be told, the reception is fun and all but everyone you’ve invited will have traveled far and wide - spoiler alter - to see you get married! The ceremony is the celebration, so let’s make it awesome!
As your officiant, I’m the first person to greet your loved ones and to set the tone for your entire event. I apply my fifteen years of experience as a screenwriter and professional entertainer to customize a humorous & heartfelt wedding ceremony inspired by your creative vision and unique personalities. And guess what? We can do whatever you want! I’m here to collaborate, pitch you ideas, and to make it happen for you. I’ll be very respectful of your opinionated Mom and nod politely for your religious Grandpa, but you’re the boss!)

A heartwarming, hilarious, and cinematic wedding ceremony with a romantic comedy retelling of your love story, written and delivered by me: the “Romantic Comedy Wedding Officiant!” The ceremony lasts anywhere between 15-35 mins, but it’s ultimately up to you.
A bit a audience participation. It’s nice for your community to feel like they’re a part of the celebration and results in you feeling less ornamental while standing up there in front of everyone. Basically, this isn’t a stage play and we’re not in church, so let’s make some memories together.
Guidance and support in applying for and obtaining your marriage license. I will file your signed marriage license and provide you with a copy to have until your official certificate arrives in the mail.
All the planning and communication you want (calls, Zoom chats, emails, etc.).
Collaboration with your other vendors on and before your wedding day to ensure that the ceremony runs perfectly as planned. I will coordinate details with your planner/coordinator, photographer, videographer, and DJ to make sure everyone is in sync.
If interested, I can consult with you on your personal vows. (This is a service I provide separately, but is free for couples who hire me to officiate.)
Please Note: for weddings in Los Angeles County, I will attend your rehearsal at no additional cost. To attend rehearsals outside of Los Angeles County, I do charge an hourly rate to cover travel time & milage. Let’s discuss the specifics of your ceremony and if it makes sense for me to attend the rehearsal. In many cases, regardless of location, it might not be necessary.
